Six pieces. Two gallery shows. One busy fall.
September is here! And with it, comes back to school season with fall family plans full of festivals and markets.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I had ambitious plans to be as productive as possible this summer. But when you have a 6 year-old whose camp schedule changes weekly…well, suffice it to say my grand plans didn’t come to fruition. But I found pockets of time to create where I could and instead prioritized family time.
I’ll be using September to hone in and paint, paint, paint - because once October hits, you’ll be seeing me at markets almost every weekend. And we all know how quickly the holidays creep up on us!
Most excitingly, while you won’t find me at a market this month, I have two gallery shows that you can find my work in. This Labor Day weekend, I am honored to be one of over 500 mid-Atlantic artists represented at the 55th Labor Day Art Show in Glen Echo Park. And starting September 14, I am overjoyed to announce that FIVE(!!) of my pieces will be part of the Essence of Watermedia Exhibition at the Activity Center in Bohrer Park. Please let me know if you plan to stop by to either one!
